Manufacturing Facilities

Vikram brand Engine Valves and Valve Train Components are manufactured in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility utilizing the most advanced technology available and the entire production, from the reception of raw materials and up to the shipment, is done in-house. All engineering, design, forging, heat treatment, machining and testing are performed under one roof at our Rajkot Facility. Our complete in-house manufacturing process allows for complete traceability and quality control at every step, from the initial inquiry to shipping the product out the door. Having the ability to design, engineer, prototype, test, and manufacture under one roof has proven invaluable to our clientele.

Workshop & Machining

Advanced manufacturing processes are key to our industry leadership for supplying innovative, quality products, faster and more economically to global automotive markets. At AVR (Vikram) Valves, we have a well-equipped workshop and machining facility with in-house team of skilled programmers and operators. Our state-of-the-art machining facility supports various processes such as EDM, grinding, milling (both CNC and conventional) as well as welding.

We have made many strides to expand and improve the capacity and efficiency of the facility. At AVR (Vikram) Valves, Engine Valves are produced using cutting-edge electro-upsetting machines and high speed precision forging presses. By using electro-upsetting some of the well-known technical limitations and disadvantages of mechanical upsetters can be eliminated and the operating efficiency can be increased.

  • High speed production cell for Engine Valve forgings - a combination of two twin head servo upsetters and a positive drive screw press with a component handling Robot which is capable of producing a valve forging every 5 seconds.
  • A dedicated electro-upsetting and forging line

Heat & Surface Treatments

The working conditions of Engine Valves are severe. Besides proper material selection, proper heat and surface treatments are essential in manufacturing high performance Engine Valves. Heat & Surface treatments improve durability, enhance scuff resistance and lubrication, control heat, boost thermal efficiency and reduce friction. We always use state-of-the-art technology to respond to diverse and advanced heat and surface treatment needs.

Our quality management system is certified to the IATF 16949:2016. Although we take pride in our certifications, the foundation of our delivered quality is our outstanding production and engineering staff. The QA Team focuses on the process as well as the product, closely working with production and engineering departments to identify potential problems and make adjustments early. Our quality control system, comprised of our inspection and process control systems, is designed to meet the most stringent requirements of our customer.

Our Quality Control Lab is well-equipped with state-of-the-art inspection and testing equipment and managed by a team of experienced professionals. We continuously invest in new state-of-the-art equipment and tracking systems that are focused on driving quality.


Our packaging department is well-equipped with leading-edge packaging machinery and cater for any specific packaging and shipment requirements that might be encountered. Our storehouse is equipped with latest facilities and loading/unloading machines and help us meet any kind of product requirement. Headed by efficient personnel our packaging department ensures orders are shipped promptly and accurately.
